The Oldest Songbird Sanctuary in the U.S.

The Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and ÃÛèÖAPP Center was established in 1923 as the country’s first ÃÛèÖAPP songbird sanctuary and is the oldest songbird sanctuary in the United States. Visit us to enjoy our 14 acres of extensive native plant demonstration gardens, several small ponds, a mile of hiking trails, our famous Bessie Potter Vonnoh fountain sculpture and, at the corner of the property, Theodore Roosevelt's gravesite.
